The project seeks to empower women experiencing abuse to access justice, protection, and support services to safely exit abusive relationships. It will strengthen women’s understanding of their rights and challenge harmful cultural norms and practices surrounding marriage that perpetuate gender-based violence. The project will also engage communities to promote positive attitudes, reduce stigma and discrimination against women who leave abusive relationships, and foster a supportive environment where women and girls can live safely, with dignity and freedom from violence.
