Message from the Board Chairperson
Dear Members, Partners, and Friends,
It is my privilege to welcome you to Paradigm for Social Justice and Development (PSD). As Board Chairperson, I am proud to be part of an organisation committed to advancing social justice, gender equality, women’s rights, peacebuilding, and inclusive development.
At PSD, we believe that sustainable change begins when women, girls, young people, and marginalised communities are empowered to claim their rights, influence decisions, and actively shape their futures. This belief guides our work to strengthen access to justice, advance gender equality, promote women’s meaningful participation in peace and security processes, and support communities to challenge harmful social norms and structural inequalities.
Our journey is driven by the commitment of our staff and volunteers, the courage and resilience of the communities we serve, and the trust of our partners and supporters. Through collaboration, community-led action, and evidence-informed programming, we strive to create lasting change while ensuring that accountability, transparency, and responsible stewardship remain central to our institutional leadership.
As the Board, we are committed to providing strategic direction, strengthening governance, and ensuring that PSD remains responsive, accountable, and sustainable. We recognise that meaningful progress requires continuous learning, strong partnerships, and a willingness to adapt to the evolving needs and priorities of the communities we serve.
I extend my sincere appreciation to our members, staff, volunteers, development partners, donors, and community stakeholders for their continued trust and commitment to our shared vision. Your contributions are invaluable to our collective efforts to build a society where women and girls enjoy their rights, communities live in peace, and everyone has the opportunity to participate in and benefit from development.
