About the Project

This Project seeks increase the number of women survivors of domestic violence who access justice in Wakiso District and reduce stigma and discrimination shown by the community towards women who exit abusive relationships. To achieve this, PSD will identify and train community members as Community Activists. These will be trained on violence against women and will later roll out to their communities and sensitize them through the community radios on violence against women to be able to reduced stigma and discrimination by the community towards women that exit abusive relationships.
