About the Activity

The overall objective of the training was to build capacity of religious leaders on the development of adequate community-based responses. Forty (40) Religious Leaders of various sects and denominations were identified from 12 sub counties of Busiro East and Busiro North in Wakiso District, Gombe and Nabweru Divisions.The training involved a participatory approach on adequate community-based responses, the role of women’s participation in conflict resolution, conflict and violence prevention, conflict early warning and response mechanisms, Gender-based violence prevention, responses and referral pathways. The training was a one-day workshop on 19^th May 2021 at Twin Tower Hotel.
