Paradigm for Social Justice and Development with funding from UN-Women and Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund is holding 5 days (08 – 13th July 2024) training of 40 Women Leaders from Kakiri sub-county, Kakiri town council, Masuliita sub-county, Masuliita Town council, Kasanje town, Mende sub-county, Kyengera town council, and Bussi Sub County on conflict prevention and resolution, civic participation, and community-based early warning and response mechanisms at Wilsen Hotel, Nansana.
These women leaders will form 8 Local Peace Committees in their communities to create awareness in their communities of women’s meaningful participation in conflict prevention and peacebuilding. The Local Peace Committees will also participate in conflict early warning and response.
