About the Project

PSD is implementing a Project on “Enabling Meaningful Participation and Collective Action of Teenage Girls And Young Women in SRHR Decision-Making Processes”.

This Project is supported by HIVOS and aims at increasing sustained influence of girls and young women (GYW) in decision-making and transformation of gender norms in formal and informal institutions in Wakiso District in Uganda.

Specifically, the Project will strengthen the capacity and movement building for Girls and Young Women (GYW) on SRH rights, coordination, collaboration, linking and networking at local and district levels and increase GYW’s participation in climate change adaption actions and decision-making processes at local and national levels.
