On 20-23 February 2024 PSD was part of the team that attended the capacity building workshop for district leaders in Wakiso district for the localization of the women peace and security agenda phase II programme in Wakiso at Triple Tee hotel, Namusera Wakiso district. This workshop was aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of Wakiso district leaders on UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on women, peace, and security (WPS) and Uganda’s Third National Action Plan (NAP III) on WPS, to enable the district local government localize the NAP III to address conflicts and other issues that undermine peace and security in communities.
