Dr. Olive is an Obstetrician/Gynaecologist by training from Makerere University. She has been working for over 30 years. Currently working with the World Health Organization as the Family Health and Population Advisor. She is a member of several technical working groups at the Ministry of Health including: MCH, ANC, Family Planning, MPDSR and PPH, NASMEC, GBV/VAC and Male Involvement. She has participated in the development of various policies and strategies for Sexual and Reproductive Health as well as Adolescent health and GBV/VAC. She has spearheaded the development of guidelines and training materials on Male Involvement for the Ministry of Health and supported World Vision to implement Coaching boys into men in Mityana.

She works with and trains young people in implementation of Sexual and Reproductive health programs.

She has been a stakeholder in implementation of various UN joint programs on Sexual and Reproductive health and Population and Development, Gender and Health, Integration of SRHR/HIV/GBV

She is also a part time lecturer at the Uganda Christian University, Save the Mothers: Post Graduate Leadership Course. She is a board member for PSD, White Ribbon Alliance, Marie Stopes.
